Now just a few words of introduction to start with. We are Igor and Natalia, and we live in Klaipeda, a port town and seaside resort on the Baltic coast of Lithuania in Eastern Europe. We are running a small publishing company and mail order service, but our hearts belong to the Pekingese! We have had Pekes since 1981, but we kept them only as pets and did not breed them, though we showed them quite successfully once in a while. In June 2000 we brought a lovely and promising bitch from the Kisci kennel in Denmark, and that is when our small family kennel was started. In July 2001 a beautiful white dog from the same kennel arrived, and later the same year we became co-owners of a bitch from a Lithuanian breeder. She was bred to our male and gave birth to 3 puppies in February 2002, and the girl from her litter will be staying with us as well. We are planning to bring another dog from Denmark now, and if we are lucky, we will hopefully get him later this year!
